It's FRIDAY!!! and 5QF time!!

Jumping right into the swing of things this morning... and getting the bloggy day started with a Five Question Friday!! BUT FIRST-

Make sure you come back by on Monday! I will be reviewing a product (it's a very useful household product... that's all I'm saying for now!) and you can enter the GIVEAWAY for your very own!!

Questions for Friday, April 16th: (Thanks to RobinHeidiReneeCascia, and C-Dub for their question suggestions or inspiration! If YOU would like to be linked in a future Five Question Friday, just head on over here, to my Blog Frog community, where I've started a brand spankin' new thread, just for all your burning questions!)

1. What words do you use on your blog/online that you don't use in real life?

Uhh... I don't know??! I just used "bloggy" up there, and I'm not sure I've ever verbalized that one. I think everybody uses words when they write that may never cross their lips, just because we're all in that "school" mindset and we have to use our big vocabulary when we're writing our papers... or something like that.

2. Do you still write checks?

Only when I have to. Like yesterday, I wrote a check to our new accountant for doing our taxes. I'll write checks to pay for my trash pick up service, and to the place where Lady M does gymnastics. But ALL of my bills that are payable online, I pay online, and in stores, I either use cash or my debit card. (wouldn't Dave Ramsey be proud?!)

3. Who was your favorite President and why?

(Sometimes these questions are TOUGH!!! .... I'm just sayin'....)

Well, I'm 30 years old. I was born the last year that Jimmy Carter was in office, then Reagan was in for 2 terms, then Bush 1 for one term, and Clinton for 2, then Bush 2 for two and now we're onto Obama. I don't remember anything about Carter, and really was too young to remember a lot about Reagan. But I guess in my lifetime if I  was choosing a prez that I could call my favorite it would be.... either Reagan or Bush 2. Historically, of course, I appreciate some of the advancements made by Washington and Lincoln, but I'm no historian- so don't call me on the carpet here and tell me how they were lying, cheating, no-good-for-nothing-something-or-others.

4. Are you a yeller?

Ask my kids... they'd say "YES!!"

Also, at public sporting events, I get really loud. Even if it's just a local softball game. I'm a complete embarrassment to everyone around me.

But I say I'm just passionate :)

5. Have you ever dumpster dived?

Nope. I mean, not literally. Have I driven by someone's discarded pile of stuff on the side of the road because I saw something I wanted?

No, not that either. But my husband, when he was out of work for a month, really kept our budget alive by doing just that. He would pick up old appliances or pieces of anything metal he's see lying on the side of the road, then take them to the recycling center to sell as scrap metal.

And my mom is always finding something that's like brand new... for instance, a baby swing that she got when my sister in law was pregnant. She was walking in her neighborhood and saw it out beside someone's trash cans, but she said it looked brand spankin' new, so she brought it home and cleaned it up (because it had been out with the trash). And you know what, that was a great find!!

I am just too much of a germ/bug-aphobe.

I wonder what I'm missing out on...
