Five Question Friday Time!!!

My Little Life

WOO-HOO!! It's Friday! It has been a LONG week, not really sure why, maybe because I'm waiting for March 1st, when I go to the doctor to make sure Baby Bito still has a heartbeat. As much as I try not to get anxious about it all, tomorrow is that 11 week 5 day mark where 2 of my last 3 babies hearts have stopped beating. BUT this time is gonna be different!! I just know it!!

Anywho---- I've been a bit lazy about blogging this week, but I know that my super awesome followers will forgive me, because they understand that sometimes you just don't have much to say.... and I'd hate to bore anyone with mundane details about how I cleaned my house all to pieces yesterday, but desperately need a new vacuum cleaner... like I said, boring!!

SO I'm jumping back into the blogging world, if only for today this week, to do a 5QF. If you are new here, welcome!! If you're a regular reader but haven't ever participated in Mama M's super fun bloggy carnival, then what are you waiting for??? It's just fun!! All you gotta do is copy the questions, add your answers, and link up with the McLinky. It's soooo easy!! And if you don't have a blog (which I know a lot of my friends are reading this) you should go start one, it's fun!! I'll even help you if you want, just let me know!

And so.... here We GO!!!

Questions for Friday, February 19th: (Thanks to ReneeChristy,HeidiLisa P, and Robin for their question suggestions! Would YOU like to be linked in a future 5QF? Just offer up your best questions here, in my community!)

1. Have you ever hit an animal with your vehicle?

I'm not really sure... I think I've probably taken out a squirrel before, because in this neck of the woods, they are all too prevalent. It's more like pest control....

I promise I'm not trying to sound cold...

The thing I hate to hit the most is butterflies. I've been driving along on hot days in the summer, and when I get out of my mommy-mobile, I've seen more than one plastered on the grill. It's so sad...

2. When you see a string on your clothes do you pull it off or cut if off?

Just depends really. If it's a sweater type thing, typically I cut it off. I have been stupid enough to pull that string before and ended up with a HUGE gaping hole, so I've tried to remember not to let my penchant for picking at things get the best of me.

But I do have a lot of camisole tanks that the hem is coming out of from allowing myself the pleasure of pulling... and pulling... and pulling on that string...

3. Did you have your own room or share a room when you were young?

Well, let's see. I grew up in a family of 7--- 3 brothers, and one sister. Originally our house had 3 bedrooms, but when baby 5 (my lil sister Amanda) came along, the carport was closed into a bedroom for my parents. Even still, you do the math. Four bedrooms, 7 people. YES I shared a room. My little brother and I shared a room when we were really small, then I shared a room with my little sister until I was nearly out of high school. When I finally got that room to myself, I felt like I had won the lottery! :)

4. Would you rather wear the same thing for the rest of your life or eat the same thing for the rest of your life?

Ewww, do I really have to decide that??

Honestly, I don't know that I can choose. Is that okay? I mean, right now, my wardrobe is limited because winter is ending and spring will be here soon (at least that's what I keep telling myself), and I don't want to buy a lot of winter maternity clothes when Baby Bito is due at the beginning of September. So I'm wearing a limited number of pants anyway. I could probably wear the same thing everyday without too much concern, as long as I could clean it daily.

As for food, I'm the kind of person that goes through phases of wanting to eat the same thing daily anyway... but saying that I could only eat such-and-such for the rest of my life??? I'd probably starve myself to death after a few weeks...

5. What was your favorite TV show as a child?

As a little kid, I LOVED Sesame Street. I watched it EVERY SINGLE day. I remember when I was five I had to have surgery on my eyes, and when I woke up from the surgery, I was so disappointed that I'd missed Sesame Street that I pouted the rest of the day. Never mind that my eye was swollen and hurting, I'd missed my favorite show!!

I liked stuff like the Cosby Show, Fall Guy, and Growing Pains (because of my SUPER crush on Kirk Cameron). Then when ABC came out with the TGIF shows, like Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, etc, those quickly became my favorites. Why don't they make more wholesome things like that anymore?? Oh well, a girl can dream....

  1. I LOVE Sesame Street. I don't remember watching it that much as a child, but I love to watch it with my kids now. Have you ever been to see Sesame Street Live? My MIL takes us every year and it is so much fun!

I still catch The Cosby Show sometimes in the afternoon. It is just as funny now as it was then!
